2 scrambled eggs?

Im a bit concerned over so many people saying they can only fit 1 egg or less for breakfast. Im 3months out and I eat 1 and 1/2 to 2 eggs with deli slice ham. Most days is 1egg and the other just the egg white but still..... Am i the only one that is eating this much??? Bit scared here.

  • I wouldn't trip about that! I was able to eat 1 egg and cheese the very first day I was allowed! I'm now 4 months and can eat more. If that freaks others out? Oh well... it's a nice normal amount and

you haven't said otherwise - so I "assume"?? you are doing well with your eating in general and weight loss these past 3 months???

if the "egg" thing is all that you are concerned about - things are looking ok IMO

i never understood when people would say how they couldn't tolerate egg at all???

i eat a scrambled egg and a 1/2 - 3 times a week - yum yum :)

no problem :)

OMG its almost 1:00 am :o

I've only had slimes once and no throw ups but I don't undereat my sleeve but have been contemplating it. Thanks for this post, I feel better and more normal. Well, normal as possible :D

Thank you all so very much. Well needed opinion

@ johnlatte. Oh you are giving me some hope here! Maybe I'll try it again. It has been a few months & I do enjoy them & also great protein!

For lunch today I made one scrambled egg with 1/4 c 2% milk and a peeled apart string cheese. I couldn't finish it. I ate about 3/4 of it though. I say as long as you're not clearing out a dozen at the end of the day, your body is going to tell you what it's ok with and not to worry!

I'm 6 weeks post op and I can barely eat. I can't seem to tolerate eggs at all...but I try to stop b4 I feel that horrible pain..sometimes I can yet other times the pain comes first. I normally don't put more than 1/4 - 1/2 cup food in front of me so I can't over eat.. it helps me to eat like this. Hope that helps others

I can eat 2 scrambled. I was sleeved 5/24 and am on the soft food diet.

I was sleeved on 5/23 and can also eat 2 scrambled eggs. I've also been able to eat 3-4 ounces of Protein and not feel stuffed or sick. Just satisfied. Everyone around here has me wondering if I'm doing it all wrong.

My plan was 2 to 3 weeks of just shakes. Hated it. Switched to soft foods about 11 days post op.

Sometimes I'll make two scrambled eggs with 1/2 an ounce of cheddar, and a slice of ham. I can finish the whole thing if I wanted to, but usually I am a little too full if I push it. Generally I'll finish about 3/4 of that and be comfortable...don't worry! Every is different

eggs chew down pretty good, and I wouldn't worry about it

some days I can eat 1 scrambled egg. some days I can eat 1 1/2 and some I can eat 2. it varies.
