Did everyone have to go home with one? If so, how long was in? Did it leave a scar?

I few have had to go home with one. I only had mine for a day and a half but there was a good size hole left when it came out. Strangely, though it's healed up like a teeny birthmark

I had mine in for two days and they took it out right before I got out of the hospital. Mine is healing up nicely and you can't even tell the tube was there..it's just like a line like my other incisions.

I had mine for 4 days and it left a very small scar, I barely can see it now at 5 months out.

Why do some Dr's use a drainage tube and others dont? My doctor said he doesn't thank goodness..

I had a drain for 8 days it was uncomfortable the whole time it was in.. I felt a whole lot better when they took it out

I did not have a drain at all.

I had a drain for two days, and it didn't bother me. My IV annoyed me more. Now, I'm not going to lie. It was very unpleasant when the removed it. I swear it was attached to my ovaries because I felt it all the way down between my legs! LOL 8-)
