  • Heck I'd be happy to be 50+ down. I'm 13wks and 27.7lbs down lol. We all lose differently

  • You are doing great! Try not to compare yourself with othetrs because it can be a real ego killer.

I know my issue is not getting all of my liquids in. If you are following your Surgeon's instructions, then you are doing a fantastic job. Everyone has their own course and you are doing fine!

I'm right there with you. Was really hoping for a faster rate of loss in first 6 months but I have only lost 70 pounds and I am two weeks from 6 month anniversary.

You're not doing anything wrong unless you're not following your dr/nut's instructions. on average, you're losing over 4 lbs a week! I think that's fantastic!

I'm just at week 4 and I swear I've weighed the same thing for a week! I liked it way better when I was losing 1 lb a day!

Ladies.... You're doing great! hope I lose as well!

Wrong? Your weight loss is superb!

My only suggestion would to stop comparing yourself to others, so what if they've lost more... Who cares! Just compare yourself to you and what makes you happy and healthy!

Keep doing what you are doing...

I'm 6 weeks and only 20 lbs lighter from the day of my surgery (40 lbs total) so don't worry! You're doing great!

yeah I am doing what I am told and I know we all lose diff and I am happy w/the 56 just was thinking it would be more for how big I started out at, I feel so much better and I did my first 5k Sat so I am very very happy, just hard when you see others that in less time have done more, I feel like I am kicking my butt I do about 4 miles aday on the treadmill and can only eat like 600-900 cal a day, as I can only eat like 3 or 4 bites of stuff at a time,

I am on week 8 & only down 18 lbs. Havent lost a pound in 3 weeks. I am so discouraged. Counting calories and I am amazed at how fast I can get to 1000 calories! Yikes! Trying to make healthy choices but the exercise issue is still an issue. I feel like I just threw away a ton of money on nothing!

Yes I have a hard time getting my water in, but I do know I am getting more in now then I did a month ago, so hopefully soon I will beable to get it all in if not more, I use to drink 100-150 ounces of water a day so this is hard for me, lol

How does this time compare to other times you've tried to lose weight?

How many pounds lost are you averaging in a week? 4.5 pounds a week.

That's awesome. Don't get discouraged -- find other things to compare your loss to.

Giggles, I understand. I didn't drink nearly as much preop but could get down a great deal in a small amount of time thanks to my Camelback. Can't wait to start using it again.
