Oh sorry. Not sure why that didn't come up but I'm 16 days PO. It took me 30 mins and I had to reheat it but it went down pretty easy.

I JUST made meatballs and didn't even get through half!! It's amazing!!

However, I really miss drinking a big glass of milk! I have my timer set for when I can drink some! Lol

I'm surprised your not getting any negative comments about this ! You go girl ! Good luck and more power to you ! ;)

Was it like a golf ball sized meatball? Or like the baseball sized ones? Lol

I'm almost 3 months and a meatball would fill me up for a whole day lmao

It was just one of the small frozen ones but its the most volume I've eaten since my surgery. (I ate a second one a little while ago but don't tell anyone)

Lmfao. Ur hilarious I love it !! I think u just told everyone !

I was told by my Dr. If you eat anything thicker than milk before 21 days you could get in big trouble!! I remember his face just before heading to surgery... He told me a patient of his ate a yogurt and it got stuck. It wouldn't move and oozed through her stitches! She had to be re-admitted, got an infection, ended up in ICU for a month!!! That was enough for me to not push it! I'm only 6 days post op, but I am dreaming about the day I can have oatmeal and scrambled eggs!

It's on my list for after day 15. Any soft ground meat. And it's on the suggestion list from my NUT. I had 2 weeks of liquids now soft foods. Everyone's doctors and NUTs have different plans.

I've questioned these differences in nutrition plans from the start. It's the same procedure universally - why do the diet plans vary so much? I am only allowed soft foods beginning on day 21, and no meat of any kind until day 48.

BTW, I'm not questioning or challenging anyone's plan VS mine - I'd just love meatball a week from now instead of five weeks. #pitypartyforone :)

Well my surgeon and dietician cleared soft foods such as lean meats at 2 weeks as well. Every doctor is different so don't let anyone tell you that you can't eat a meatball 2 weeks out. If your stomach can stand it then it is yours to eat. I ate my first piece of chicken 2 weeks out and a meatball 3.. It's all about what your body can take at this point. I eat any protein now at 5 weeks. The only things I can't eat are raw veggies, breads and pastas at this point. My salad will be in 3 more weeks which is very exciting!

I'm 17 days and I on soft foods. I don't eat a large amount lucky if I get 1/2 of a saucer plate in

But I eat eggs cheese turkey slices cottage cheese slice cheese baked fish. I tried turkey patty crumbled

Syntax and unjury shakes.

My Nut gave me the ok for 1 saltine cracker and

Tortilla low carb 1/4 of 1. Per week only.

I think I need to up my Activity and Water I'm up

1 pound!

It is possible too, that the drs that allow stuff sooner, like meat, use larger bougie a. I'm curious what size bougie a your surgeons used?

I'm 2 weeks today. Yesterday I got 1.5T of Greek yogurt in. I'm pretty sure there was no more room. I'm a shorty and maybe had a smaller stomach, so my sleeve is probably very small too. My surgeon used a 32f bougie.

Anyway, a meatball sounds lovely. I'm jealous. ;)
