I did it!

I'm days PO and I ate 1 whole meatball!! The amazing part is that I don't want/need any more! It's a strange feeling but I good one.

  • It was just one of the small frozen ones but its the most volume I've eaten since my surgery. (I ate a second one a little while ago but don't tell anyone)

    I was told by my Dr. If you eat anything thicker than milk before 21 days you could get in big trouble!! I remember his face just before heading to surgery... He told me a patient of his ate a yogurt

I'm starting soft foods today! I'm going to have fish for dinner. But more than anything I want a freaking cucumber. I wonder when I can eat those?

Funny you mention the bougie. My surgeon said they did start using a larger one because they think there is less acid reflux post-op. He allowed meats starting the second week if they were puréed.
