I'm having the same issue at 8 weeks out. Also, having stomach pain anytime I eat or drink. I had to go do a swallow test so the surgeon can try to figure out what's going on. I went from eating 6 small meals to eating barely two for over 4 weeks now. I'm so low of energy.

I will not find out the results until Tuesday. I hope they can tell me somthing. My cousin doctor told her it was all in her head. I wish my doctor would say that to me...that's fighting words...lol

I had been nauseous for three weeks. Everything made me feel sick and I felt awful. Doctor put me on a prescription acid reducer medicine and it has been AMAZING! Apparently all that acid in my tummy was whirling around like a witches brew and now that it is settled a bit I feel so much better! Just a thought for some of you dealing with the nausea.

I was kinda wondering the same thing if it was stomach acid

I read ( not sure if it is true ) that our stomach still makes the same amount of acid when our stomach is larger. So imagine all that acid in our little tummy now. Eek! Sounds gross. ????

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
