Skype in Tijuana

I'm sure others have used it, but I'm not very familiar with Skype. I have it set up on my tablet which I'll be taking with me. What experiences have others have using this service while in Tijuana?

Great question, I was thinkng the same thing. My little girl is 7 and mommy is going to be missing her like crazy! I am taking my kindle fire with webcame and she will have my laptop at home.

I used it to talk to my hubby and mother while I was there. I had wifi at Oasis Hospital and Hotel Lucerne. My call quality was impacted only by how busy the system was... Just after work hours were the slowest connections but I still had a good talk.

I've been using FaceTime. Luckily everyone I care to talk to all have it.
