  7. Thanx to all of those who thought or prayed for me while I was in Tijuana. Just made it home late last night. It was good to see my kids this morning but I had missed my husband the most. While I was in good hands in Mexico I felt peace in the arms of the man who loves me when he met me at the airport last night.

  9. whoo-hoo! It's a done deal. I had some pain last night, from the gas, in my shoulders and in my back, but I walked until I just couldn't anymore. After that, a nurse gave me a hot towel for my back. I used my heating pad for my stomach. I totally recommend bringing a heating pad. Immense help. Also, some things I didn't see on anybodys list of things to bring: a cup, for after the surgery when you come back to the hotel (I don't trust myself drinking from my Gatorade bottle...worried I might have the urger to gulp rather than sip) and a medicine dispenser. In my bag of medicines, I found a liquid, kinda like Milk of Mag, but it said to take 2tsp. I just approximated. I leave to go home tomorrow. Everyone and everything have been so wonderful. Money well spent!

  11. Ugh! I know. I was up walking and tried to come upstairs to see you and Nicole, but they won't let me. They were worried if anything were to happen to me. Understandable. How are you feeling?

  14. sleeved will write more tomorrow
  15. I've been up and down all night. Nissi is supposed to pick me up from the hotel around 7:40 (EST). I requested to go first and gave her my reasonin for doing so (extended liquid diet). She said she will ask the doctor. I'm very nervous and have been praying a lot this morning.
  16. I'm so happy for you! Congratualtions!
  17. I made it into Tijuana safe and sound. Once I got off the plane in San Diego, I just called Victor to pick me up. He made it very easy to find each other and was very sweet and talkative. Victor took me to the hotel, Pueblo Amigo which is very nice. The casino is right outside my door, but I brought ear plugs. Victor told me that Nissi will meet or call me later to give me details about tomorrow. As soon as I checked in, I found the workout room with a scale. It was in kg's, but I just converted it into pounds when I got back in my room. At this point, I'm still 1lb over, but I generally weigh less in the mornings, so this does not surprise me. As it stands, I should probably slide right in at the 48.8 BMI mark to save that $1,000.
  18. Thanx. I'm on my way to the airport now. Took a double dose of kolonopin. Certainly calmed my nerves. Whew!!!
  19. Good luck to you today. You've been in my thoughts all morning.
  20. Thanx for the info. I'm on my way to the airport now. While your input eased my mind a bit I'm still nervous. It was a double kolonopin morning!
  21. I hate to admit it, but the pumpkin smelled so good that I actually contemplated licking the area around my lips.Totally wish I were kidding!!!

  23. I got a pumpkin chemical peel and a compression body wrap today. Now all I need is a sleeve! Living on sugar free popsicles at this point. Ugh!!!
  24. Thank you! I'm counting the hours at this point. I'm totally starving and even thought eating a pack of mustard sounded good today. I don't even really like mustard. It will be a relief to get to the losers side and eventually be able to work up to eating real food again. I've been on protein shakes for more than 6 weeks and this is the 2nd time on clears. Its been a long journey but I'm on the downhill slide.
