So I am almost 3 months out and I am down 2 sizes. :D I haven't bought the newest size though cuz I've paid so much money for my current wardrobe and I am just being cheap. I've always had to shop at places like Lane Bryant, and I feel like I've wasted all that money! I keep having to pull up my jeans (it's annoying, but actually secretly feels great!) and my top is not shrinking quite as fast as my bottom and my legs are. I finally caved and bought new swim suit bottoms for Water aerobics, but I just can't bring myself to buy new tops yet because swimwear is so expensive.

So...my plan is this weekend to start hitting up places like Goodwill and Salvation Army. If I am going to be dropping sizes this quickly, I am not spending a ton of money on clothes. When I get to my goal....I will definitely splurge, but in the meantime, resale shops are definitely on my horizon.

Sell them on ebay as a lot...lane Bryant clothes sell really well on there!

I was having the same thoughts about how your would probably go through sizes quickly and why waste a lot of money on clothes you won't wear very long. Kind of like when my kids were going through growth spurts, only this is a losing spurt! Thankfully the weather will be warmer soon, so shorts & tee shirts are pretty inexpensive.

For casual outings, I bought a couple of leggings. Just make sure they dont go see-through when you put them on. Leggings take you through a couple of sizes!

I have dropped a couple sizes. I have not done sny clothes shopping. My mom has picked up some new pants for me at Salvation Army. She has the time to stop and check on it for me and I would hate to pay full price for something I am hoping not to wear very long.

I have vlothing in my closet spanning from a size 10 to a size 16. I cant wait to start going back down! I will be packing up each size and donating them as they become too big. Looking forward to cleaning out and organizing my closet! Only thing I will need to buy for now is a couple of belts.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
