Oh mashed potatoes

I think I love you. 3 teaspoons just made me feel so good! Yay for puréed foods.

That's all :)

Ah! I know that feeling! As soon as I left my Dr's appt and was released to have soft foods, my husband took me straight through a Popeye's drive through and bought a small side of mashed potatoes and gravy.

Oh that first bite was heavenly after being on clears for a week!!! :D

Liquids only one week! Had surgery one Wednesday and have to do liquids for three weeks. I will say on the liquids is pudding, yogurt and cream of wheat.

I had two weeks of liquids post op plus one pre op. Man, that was a long 3 weeks! But well worth it.

Wait until you can add a lil moist chicken in the potatoes hehe and a lil dab of gravy oh man

That first bite was heaven on earth after months of purée and liquids

I'm happy for ya! I know the feeling too. I wanted a bite of pizza (just a bite or 2) for about 4 weeks. I got my pizza fix a week ago. Ate less than 3/4 of a small slice. It was delicious and I haven't needed it since.

Although I did have another craving flung on me. Didn't even know I wanted it, but I passed my mom's table and she had banannas in a bowl. Suddenly I wanted that bananna so bad!!!!

And for dinner I made a pot of chili. I took 3oz and pureed it with chicken broth to make it a pureed soup. Beans, beef and veggies...YUM!
