I have trouble drink enough water now after my sleeve. Before my sleeve I could gulp a ton of water at a time. I am only 3weeks post op, but I would like to know how much water can I drink at a time? Can I drink 8oz in 3mins? What is the most amount I can drink in a short period of time

The secret is to keep "sipping" water all day long so that at the end of the day you have had a decent amount!

It will get better by 5 or 6 weeks out. I was having the. Same problem and one day I got up and could just take a drink and drank a half glass in on gulp. My surgeon said some swelling must have gone down in order for me to do that.l

Hi I struggled in the beginning as well. I would say it was difficult to get in all the liquids for the first month. I am now 3 1/2 post op and get in about 74 oz of liquids a day. I have to sip all day. I can't gulp at all. If I take to big of a drink it's painful. Hope this helps .....Best Wishes
