    Spaghetti Os

Is spaghetti Os ok for the purée stage? Is love one table spoon of that!
  3. One of the perks of being over weight is having a fat personality. A fat personality is someone who is sensitive, loving, funny and caring. Just like a teddy bear! I'm not trying to discriminate, this is only my way of seeing things and I don't take myself seriously, so should you!! Ok so, I think most fat people always have better personalities than most skinny people! People who have always been overweight may care more about having a good personality and a sense of humour, they also tend to be more affectionate and forgiving. Maybe it's a psychological compensation mechanism? I hope I never lose my fat self.. Dear god, please make my body thin and my personality fat.. Amen.
  4. Consider yourself lucky.. I had mine a week ago, I was in excruciating pain for 2 days and I puked my heart out! The most unpleasant and painful experience of my life! I was only allowed one dose of a controlled pain reliever every 7 hours, which was definitely not enough for me! This has been so traumatic I'm glad it's over! Feels like a month already

OMG did I really used to eat that much?

I just got sleeved a week ago.. I'm not planing on sharing the news with the whole world, but my skinny-over eating friends will notice something is up when I start doing the same.. I think it's gonna be pretty obvious and I might as well just tell everyone I know :/

    Why Lie?!?!

I wouldn't feel particularly comfortable by skinny people coming to ask me what I've done! I'd simply say that I cut back on portions! (Which is kind of the truth) But I'd definitely tell someone if I know that they struggle with their weight themselves or know someone close who does...

    Drank too fast.

Thanks everyone! Walking around does really help with that!
  9. Hi, I'm one week post op now. I just drank half a cup of skimmed milk too fast! Not too fast but too fast for the new pouch! I'm in a bit of pain and discomfort, I'm trying to lie on my back at the moment (don't ask me why I think it helps). Should I be worried?
  10. You look great! Congratulations!
  11. I have pcos too! It's very common and I think having the sleeve will help you lose a lot of weight and losing weight will eventually help ease the pcos with time!
  12. Thank you so much! I guess that I'm still mourning food and dreaming of being able to eat a bacon cheese burger again.. Head hunger
  13. Diarrhoea is normal, better than constipation if you ask me! The only thing you should be worried about is dehydration! Try Gatorade until the diarrhoea eases off As for the nausea I don't know? I've been on meds for that since I got out! Are you on any meds for nausea or heart burn?
  14. Thanks for sharing! Is there anything that you feel you cannot eat still?

    How much water?

The secret is to keep "sipping" water all day long so that at the end of the day you have had a decent amount!

    Any feb. 6 sleevers?

I had mine on the 7th. It gets better everyday. I had it on Thursday and was discharged Sunday. So far I lost 10 pounds in 5 days. Is that too much too soon? And I'm still freaked out about developing a leak even though I was clear when X-rayed post op.
