That can happen after surgery. I think the chemicals in our brain get a little out of balance when we have surgery. Known as post-op depression. Walking sometimes helps. Boosts the happy cells in the brain. If it goes on too long talk to your doctor.

going through it now, all i want to do is be alone very moody, emotional and no tolerance for jokes or sarcasm from family or friends. not sure what it is !!!

My family keeps me going keep yourself surrounded by positive people it helps. I take floxitine for anxiety don't be afraid to talk to a doctor.

My anxiety has spiked since surgery, never felt depressed, but it's hard bc now I lost food to cope with. Sometimes I still have that emotional eater come out, but it hard to deal with. Your body has gone through sooooo many changes. Keep on keeping on girl. Positive vibes sent your way!

I feel that way and I haven't had surgery yet. I think mine is just life right now

thank you !!

I'm expecting to deal with that. You'll be in mourning for the loss of food as a source of comfort.

Hang in there. I'd highly recommend asking your surgeon to refer you to a counselor specializing in bariatric patients.
