hello January sleevers. I had my first post op today. down 17lbs since surgery day. 27lbs per op. I feel great! no complications so far but still struggling with the protein. in the process of trying different brands. but no luck yet!

My post-op appointment is Thursday but things have been great so far. No complications, no pain, no issues at all aside from some pants no longer fitting and being completely sick of this liquid diet :)

Hi all & congratulations on losses and your decisions!

I was sleeved on 1/16. HW was 350ish, DOS 339.5, today's weight is 318.6.

I was amazed at my recovery, I pretty much slept for the first two days home. I went back to work 5 days later an have just felt pretty darn good!

I went to soft foods yesterday and have INCREDIBLE heartburn with refried Beans, Prilosec isn't even touching it. Did very well with cottage cheese last night, my tummy talked about it for at least an hour.

I seem to be able to tolerate any fluids and can finish a rather large amount of Soup at one sitting but on soft foods I can only do about 1/4-1/2 cup at a time. I'm tracking my calories on an iPhone app and I'm trying to get anywhere between 600-900.

I didn't go through any regret phases, I was just anxious the week prior to surgery. It might sound stupid, but I was just so upset I'd never be able to pig out at a Chinese buffet again. Looking at it now I can't believe I stressed out about it.

My husband and I go with a group of friends on a 7 day cruise on Oct. 27. Excited to buy a real bathing suit this year!

Take care!!! <3

Finally got the ok to go back to the gym (no heavy lifting yet) and move on to soft foods today. I had a scrambled egg and a little applesauce. It was wonderful! Went down with no difficulty and didn't feel any tightness or nausea.

I was sleeved Jan 9 th and I've lost 22 lbs. I eat between 900-1200 calories a day. I have no weakness and am losing weight. I can eat most anything in soft foods. I ate one piece of whole grain bread (100 calories 7 grams protein) with one egg for breakfast and tuna or chicken salad with crackers for lunch , a Greek yogurt for snack , cottage cheese for dinner. I feel great. I am doing a mile a day on the treadmill. I love my sleeve!

Hey everyone!! I was sleeved on 1/30. I started at 253 on the first day of my liquid diet. I was 239 DOS and today (day 5) I'm 230. I'm on full liquids and have created some interesting strained soups. I ordered some new protein today in hopes I can get more down!

Sleeved January 5 th . Can eat everything I try so far it's been good. Getting all my protein in and liquids. Drink pedia lite and G2 so I won't get dehydrated. Started at 201 and now I am 178. Scale hasn't moved in 2 weeks . I go to the gym 4 times a week and walk no less than 3 miles a day . Lovin life

I am 5 days post op and I still have not lost all my water weight from 48 hours of ivs! Lol. I am sure it will come off in the next few days. I am feeling better every day.

I was sleeved on 1/31. In gained 10 lbs now I am down 7 of it. I am hoping it is from the iv. I am still so swollen near belly button. I feel like I am pregnant. lol. I am on full liquids and have my first check in on Friday. I walked for 20 min today. I have a lot of pain still.

So happy! All water weight is gone and I walked for 1/2 hour. I have more energy. I cleaned the kids room and soon I will head out to pick up the kids.
