Hello there

What's your surgery date?

March 15th at Oschner. What about you?

Hello,I'm in New Orleans..

I live near Baton Rouge. My surgery is March 15 with Dr. Richardson.

March 4th in Dallas!

So who is your surgeon? I used Dr. Kennedy. She's been amazing. Her Pre-Determination Specialist.... Not so much LOL I'm hoping to have all of my testing done Tuesday of next week and I'm trying to get March 7th!

Hi! My date is march 20. I'm from Long Island NY and ready for a new life!!! My doctor is dr John angstadt from st Charles hospital. He was the head of bariatric surgery prior to coming to ny and I think he's fantastic!

day 4 of pre op diet. man this sux. i know its 90% mental but the lack of energy and the headaches from the caffeine withdrawl are taking its toll. but i know its gonna all be worth it.... at least i keep telling my self that. lol.

Hey there all! I find out my date next week. Should be about 2 weeks after. I can't wait!

Have any of you made plans on how to.handle the clothing as we shrink?

I have to say, that's a concern for me.

I've found a tailor near me for my better clothing. Beyond that I plan to limit myself to wearing my tent size clothes and possibly hitting up the clearance racks at Walmart occasionally. I've heard of others going to goodwill for the in between clothes, but I'm not sure i can handle other people's clothing.

In goodwill u can also find clothes with their tag still on them so they are new and no one has used them. I like your tailor idea specially for jeans. Target if you have one around put good clearance racks, some even for like a dollar something.

I just got scheduled for March 18th! I'm excited and grateful for this group.

My surgery date is 03/18/2013, I am so excited.

I have sizes from my last failed diet... Currently in size 24 3x-- have clothes to fit me down to size 16 1x... This last regain of my weight I told my husband I'm not giving one thing away! Now I'm going to pack up all my big clothes as they become too big and donate them to charity. I know how it feels to be big and not be able to afford clothes... I'm gonna pay it forward. :) also I'm gonna fill in the gaps in my wardrobe with goodwill and thrift shop clothes until I get to goal. Not buying new clothes I'm only gonna wear for a short time....

The only thing I'm gonna have to buy is new bra's!! That is exciting because I have been buying the "box bras" as I call them for some time because my bra size is 48 or 50 C cup. Not a typo... C -cup. I have one B and one C.. So yea picture that.... Sorry.. Tmi!

I didn't know that goodwill had stuff like that ! I may have to give it a try.
