i am only 3 1/2 weeks out and just starting on the soft foods. when you say your tummy doesn't tolerate things' date=' what happens? some of the same things i have been trying have been "coming back up". not throwing up but just like baby burp type, minus the burp! sorry that sounds gross but i'm sure you understand! lol[/quote']

Exactly like you said, the burping (which I have a chronic case if!) and feeling like the food is right at back if the throat. Also, the small amount that I can eat, say of eggs (less than I egg) or chicken (3-4 tiny bites) shows that mg stomach isn't ready for it. I can eat more beef than I can chicken-strangely enough! As long as I still feel energetic and am losing weight at a safe speed-I don't mind the limited diet I just keep trying though, eventually everything should go down fine. I also like Pure Protein bars in a pinch as a snack so I do get 60-80 grams if Protein in plus plenty of liquids.< /p>

I think I know exactly what you mean. It doesn't happen with everything, but certain foods go down and then reverse! Reflux, I guess.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
