Plastics on 1/8/13... Recovery is hard!

Recommended Posts

Ok here are my latest pics! I just took them! These are roughly six weeks out <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

It's looking great!! Out of the 3 procedures, was the tummy the most painful? I could use a TT and a breast lift but I'm leaning toward a lift first...

Wow! Everyone looks great & I can't wait until I can have mine done. Question' date=' do I have to wait a year after I've hit goal to start the process of plastics? Even though my tommy would definitely need it, my arms are what's really bothering me. I also wouldn't mind the boobs lifted. Mr dr said that the surgeon he deals with ( I live in NYC) works the wording out in such a way that the insurance should cover. I would find it very difficult to self pay. Good luck to all. Looking great!!!![/quote']

I have Medicare/ Medicaid and I was told that you have to wait till 2 years after goal and that they will pay for a Tummy Tuck if needed because of rashes but they won't pay for any other cosmetic surgery.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
