70lbs is a lot of weight in 4.5 months!! You should be proud!! A way I get out of slumps is to hire a personal trainer to motivate me. They are great coaches and push you, and they want you to succeed!! 24 hr fitness usually had a 3 pack for $99 to start. It's worth a try!!

I am 1 month postop today and as of yet have only lost 6 lbs. Actually, not even that because the same 3lbs comes and goes. I weighed 280 the morning of surgery and now, 1 month out, my weight is anywhere from 273-276. I am very anal retentive and follow the rules to a T and am VERY depressed because I am not losing. Everyone tells me to be patient but they aren't having this issue. I am having a difficult time finding anyone with my same issue. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, what happened, where are you now? Cheer me up!! I need some cheerleaders. Please don't tell me to be patient, if I lost a lb each time I've heard that, I would aready be at my goal weight!!!

I was sleeved 9.20.12 & I'm in a slump/stall as well. I feel unmotivated here lately. My total loss as of today is 64lbs.

I was sleeved 11-27 so six weeks out and the first two weeks I think I lost 2 lbs. it passed and now I have lost 25lbs since day of surgery. It does get better, your body is changing.

I have had a similar issue. I lost 18lbs total in a year of having the sleeve. I was doing everything right and even had a trainer2 days/week plus doing the treadmil a few more times. I had my surgery in TJ. My doctor was kind enough to do a plication over my sleeve for free. I can eat a lot less, but after 5 weeks I have only lost 15lbs. I havent lost any weight in the last 3 weeks.

Yup, you just just described me as well! I was also sleeved on 8-14, but I never lost that much. I've lost 37 pounds and haven't lost more since before Christmas. It is very discouraging and depressing.

I would suggest sitting down with your NUT and getting some feedback while looking at your overall diet and excerise. I wont tell you to hang in there... if it were me i would be flipping out... i have lost 36lbs since surgery 12/18/12... i cant imagine doing this for only a few pounds.best of luck to you!

Know how you feel 9/26/12 iv been in a stall 7 lovely weeks now and down only 37 from the sleeve :( I'm starting to wonder if its a stall or if I'm just done :(. The hunny moon stage 6 month you drop the most and fast man I hope that's not true if it is well I'm boned lol.

You guys are very supportive. It's easier when so many people relate. This is a lifetime battle....

How did you get a nut? My doctor doesn't have one on his staff. Even though I haven't lost weight, I did lose 4 inches off my waist...so maybe the verdict is still out. Who knows?!

Ok, everyone, I'm hoping this cheers you up a bit, here is how I feel.....we all are going to lose at our own rate. I've been sleeved for 4 months & am down 51 lbs. YES!!! That's 51 pounds in 4 MONTHS!!! I would never have been able to lose that by just dieting! My point, try to think on the bright side, you're losing :) I've hit slumps, stalls, not exercised like I should, haven't watched what I eat close enough. Could I have lost more by now, maybe, but I'm doing what I can do, day by day. You're going to have good days & bad, hopefully more good ones. I wish all of you the best of luck & keep up the GREAT WORK!!! Remember, this a journey you will travel the rest of your life....keep smiling :)

My doc sent me to one and at a 250 smack to see her once a month and her not having a darn clue it's getting old lmao. I send her weekly reports of read outs from my fitbit and myfitness pal .But you can look for one or even call Local hospitals that do sleeve surgery and ask them for the number to their preferred Nut ;) most hospitals that sleeve have a nut on call I have not only a nut but a Exercise psychologist he tells me what to do for workouts.I know my bone density my Water weight my fat percentage it shows on my scale.
