How is everybody doing? Slept most of the afternoon and am still exhausted. Pain not so bad since I got onto liquids and took oral liquid pain med.

Doing pretty good. Some pain but am getting pain meds as often as I can. Walking pretty good. Can't have liquids until I have an upper gi in the morning to check for leaks. Dry mouth is killing me but I'm managing. My 18 yr old daughter is staying with me tonight and she is taking awesome care of me!!

I hope you all are doing well. My mom was sleeved today(Im 3/2013), and shes home, doing great. Welcome to the losers bench : )

If I could just get rid of this gas pain, I would be awesome.. slept pretty Good last night. Except for the sippy cup of water that decided to join me during the night!

Well I passed my upper gi so I get to start drinking!! I have little 1oz cups with water, crystal light, and isopure

Hi everyone I'm glad you all are doing good. I'm ok. Tuesday was a blur I was sleeping a lot but I had issues going to the bathroom so they had to put cath back in. I have been cold the morphine Is making me itch I have Benadryl. I had a hiatal hernia dr took care of that. Drinking crystal light now taking it slow. No leaks ! Officially sleeved!!

Amazing How different surgeons are. I don't get a post op leak test as nd I was on clear fluids 8 hours after surgery. So tired. Waiting for hubby's arrival to go home a meer 29 hours after surgery. Would like to stay another night for the quiet but No go

My check-in was 7:30, surgery at 9:30. I did the same as you and slept most of the day. My first walk was at 5. Passed my upper GI at 8:30 and was in clear liquids. Dr said I have to drink 4 of those 1oz cups of water in an hour... dis that now working in my protein. If I can finish them I can go hone tonight. Found out that cold drinks cramp my sleeve. :(

My mom had surgery at 7AM and was on her way home by 2pm..full liquid diet, so protein right from the get go. Coffee ok, hydrate. The protocols are so varied.

Had my surgery yesterday at 8:30 hot released today at 4pm. There is no way I could have gone home yesterday!!

That's just nuts. I had mine at ten and slept most if the day. No way I could of gone home.

She did fine. She napped in recovery but otherwise you would have never known she had surgery. She was a little sore this AM, but this evening seemed fine. Glad to see others are home and recovering well. Good luck everyone.
