Sorry to hear that. Is it possible to get a credit card, some have low rates for x months. Where are you going to have the surgery, does the hospital do its own credit plan?

I had mine with cosmetic bliss in czech republic.

If you make good money & the only debt you have is a car payment I would pay off the car ASAP, sell it to pay for surgery then buy a really cheap car to replace it.

Then I would save up to get a nicer car with cash.

I don't advocate debt, it wreaks havoc on your finances, much like the extra weight does to your body.

you could always apply for a medical credit card. it can only be used for medical and it had to be paid of quickly.

Medical credit cards must be an American thing, I googled it and nothing came up in the uk.
