Omg The Pain!

I had no idea I would be in so much pain while in recovery. I also thought they had the pain meds started before I got to recovery. I have had other surgeries in the past and did not experience anything like before. Good thing is the pain is WAY down but that is bc my pain meds were increased. Hopefully I am not having issues tomorrow

I thought your surgery was on Thursday?!?!

It was supposed to be on Friday but something came up with the surgeon and he asked if I can come in today instead.

Hope you feel better and Congrats on Surgery Day!

Just remember it is temporary. It might be hard today and tomorrow but I pray that it will be worth it for you (AND ME) in the long run! Thinking of you!

Thankyou! The one thing I'm surprised about is that it's not gas pains that I hear everyone talking about.

The majority of my pain was in the incision where they pulled the stomach out. At times it was stabbing pains and actually increased before leveling off at about week 4/5. By week 6 it was gone so hang in there, it does get better!

Im glad everything went good for your surgery. I will admit i had NO gas pains..hopefully you wont either!

I was sleeved 15 days ago....the first day was the worse...by the end of the second day I was off pain meds. Hope you feel better soon!!! This was the best decision I EVER made!!!

I'm sorry to hear you're in a lot of pain =( But each day will be better. Congrats on your surgery!

Take those pain meds, not reason to be in pain. Praying for you.

So an update... A lot of discomfort. They started me on clear liquids and they DO NOT feel good going down. But I guess I kinda expected that. Hopefully things get better as the day goes on.
