4 days after, i didn't have the need to drive before the 4th day. I was not told i couldn't drive after surgery....

My surgery is not until the 27th, but I was told at least a week, and that someone should drive me to my first follow up appointment.

I was told after I wasn't taking my pain medications any more. :)

I was released to drive, today, day 6 Post Op

Thanks. I was told that no restrictions as long as it wasn't an hour drive and I was no longer on pain medication. My surgery was on 9/13. I want to be able to take my son to school.

I had to drive & once I did i knew why I should have waited a week - I was sleeved on the 12th... 1st follow up is this Friday & I will drive then...

I was told one week

The post op papers say 24 hours, but you will be too tired. I drove 3 days later. I had to get my kids somewhere. It was fine. Felt good to move and get out of the house.
