Oh god, my worst nightmare. How long ago were you sleeved, what did you eat?

When I do vomit, rarely, thank goodness, it's almost like an expulsion. There's no pain. For me, it's like my sleeve hit the eject button.

I admit I vomit a couple times a week. If something just doesnt sit well it comes right back up. It totally depends on what it is on wether it hurts or not. Sometimes tears shoot and I mean shoot out of my eyes becasue it comes back up so hard. Sorry if TMI but dont want you to be afraid if it happens to you. I was petrified in the beginning!

Sleeved exactly 2 weeks ago and it was blended seafood it was a violent expulsion I think it hurt because, I'm still healing plus I had dry heaves and they always hurt.

Me too BlueOctoberGirl! I am 14 weeks out now and for the first 10 weeks I puked every single day...sometimes twice a day!! For the last four weeks it has slowed, thank goodness, to a couple times a week. Mine almost never hurt, just an annoyance really...and I am more worried about the possibility of developing barrett's esophogus, or worse, esophogeal cancer. I can't wait for the week when I don't puke at all!!!

Oh goodness!!! I hate to throw up, I would use that as a excuse to not due the surgery cause I hate it so much, let alone dry heaves. So sorry you feel icky.

Seriously, one of my worst nightmares. When you say it just came up, did you get warning, did you make it to the bathroom? I'm so afraid to be at work and not get to the bathroom in time. Teriiann did you do the surgery already? That is one of the reasons I wasn't sure about the surgery either. Not sleeved yet.

I got a warning my stomach gurgled and I was able to get to the bathroom. If I was healed I don't think it would have hurt as much but, I'm still really sore at my stitches sites.

I know right! I don't heave, it's just spills out without noise.

I know now as soon as I swollow. I admit I scout out the location of the bathroom in every resteraunt we go to! I will be 2 years out in January. I look at it as just my way of life...so worth it to be below goal weight and healthy!

Puked for the first time today and all I can say it hurt more than childbirth!

LOL I said the same thing when I vomited for the first time...o thought I was going to rip something

I only threw up once while i was in the hosptial. Day 2 and it came back very quickly and somewhat without warning lol but haven't threw up since
