Have you been to a therapist? You need to address this issue before the surgery. Surgery is not a a cure all. It is a tool that you have to learn how to use correctly or you are setting your self up

I supposed to have the ops 2 months ago but I failed Optifast... I keep thinking of FOOD!!!

there are plenty of people that start bigger then you. you can do it! :)

I started at 431!

I started at 330. had no complications at all. I am 5 months post op and have lost 100 lbs. You'll be fine.

to be honest, i'm scared, too.. because being bigger, you require more anesthesia.. it's scary.. but i mean.. at least for me.. it's not like i'm doing this because i think it will be easy or because i even want to... but because i NEED to, to survive! when it's a matter of survival.. and quality of life.. then you just gotta do what you gotta do to get better.. and really try.. it's not a quick fix, it's a tool to help you become healthier and normal.. y'know? :)

so yeah.. can't blame you for being nervous or scared.. i am, too.. but i'm sure you'll be fine & you won't regret getting it. :) and me, too! :)

600+..... went through the surgery fine. Came home from the hospital the next day and have lost 75lbs in 5 weeks. You will be fine.

I understand tat it's very impt to go thru the liquid diet phrase... A lot got to depends on will power... I'm real lousy!!

Im still pre op but I'm around 370 so your not alone :) hopefully I loose at least 10 more pounds on the pre op diet. Good luck to you!

I started at 373, surgery went fine, still able to do it without going 'open'. I've had practically NO complications. On a side note, I'm only 5'6" so 373 means 56" waist 28" inseam, 5-6x shirt. So, yeah, I was a beach ball with hands and feet.

It is normal to have fears, we all did at some point
