I had my vsg on July 17th and just this past Monday, I noticed I can drink a lot more water at once..seriously even more than I could drink Sunday night! Its true that things really do change over night!! Its not a huge chug, but I can drink half of a 16.9 fl oz bottle at once! :) and it feels great!

Oh that is so nice to know that the day will come again when I can get half a bottle down in a chug! :)....eventually. I'm 4 weeks and feel like I can take a good size drink but man am I dying

To take that big gulp and keep drinking! At least it's not forever.

I also have a huge desire to chug! It's been so hard for me. I have a very hard time with clear liquids- but I can drink milk lots faster and I get no pain at all. If I take in too much waters it's about the only thing that still hurts my stomach. It's crazy!!!!

I'm about 5 weeks out today and I have been able to finally get through a decent amount of water quickly. I cannot chug like I did presurgery, but I can take bigger drinks now. I still can overdo it though. I have tried to take too many bigger drinks in a row and had it feel stuck behind my sternum. Most of the time I'm fine though and can finally get in water easier.
