I'm 25 years old and from British Columbia, Canada. My surgery is set for October 2. My pre op ensure shake diet starts September 2 but I have started a week early for a head start I am

A nurse by profession and engaged but no kids. With my history of PCOS kids will come after I drop the weight. Starting weight: 280lbs Current Weight: 275 and losing everyday!!

I had my surgery yesterday morning . I feel ok but in A LOTof pAin but not intolerable .

Surgery went well yesterday. Only nausea was in the recovery room. Morphine PCA made it a lot easier. Had leak test this am, tasted like how lemon pledge smells. Not gritty though. Thinking of all the great ppl here getting sleeved today. Best of luck. Jello for lunch, yeah!

My surgery is scheduled for Thursday. I am taking a cold. Should I call doc and see if OK still for surgery? I don't want to do all that cleanse stuff tomorrow only to be sent home Thur morn.

I am just getting over a cold. Told my primary dr to give me a Z pack and it wiped it out just in time for my surgery. Which is tomorrow. I would call your dr and make sure you can still do the surgery.

No gas pains, some growling going on. I am surprised how comfortable I am. I would say, nothing to worry about. My recovery so far has exceeded my initial fears and expectations.
