Kimberlee, if your surgery is that close, part of what you are feeling is fear. Does any of this sound familiar to the voices going on in your head: Am I doing the right thing.. omg I'm scared... wh
Im on day 5 of my pre op diet...i asked my coworkers if they wouldn't mind eating their lunch (delicious burgers and fries from this place around the corner) in another room instead of our little office. I assumed they would do it, we're all really good friends...so lunch just gets here, and they all just start chowing down at their desks. I just got up and said "I guess I'm the one that has to leave" was this too much to ask? Am I overreacting? Ugh. I'm STARVING and I just found it incredibly insensitive. *sigh* at least surgery is on Monday. Then I'll be out of work until the day after labor day. Wooooo-sa.
