  • Would anyone on here be interested in like a monthly type social club kinda thing?? We would totally understand each others "strange" eating habits lol

  • Here's some pre-op advice: Have a few comfy sundresses/etc postop. Do have camis, sports bra to wear due to the placement of your incisions. Get some really small (1oz, 2-3oz, 4oz) food containers,

Buffalo NY girl here :) surgery February 27th !!

Hello! I was sleeved on Oct.1 2012 by Dr. Hoffman. Who is doing your surgery?

Dr Caruana. I love him he's awesome!

He did my sister in law's bypass....she was very happy with him.

I had my sleeve done by him in August. He's great!

Buffalo ny here.. Sleeved by dr Pham Sept 20th. Down 74lbs :)

What was your starting weight? What are some thing you are eating? I've been in a stall since mid December and I'm starting to lose faith. I went to the doctor yesterday and the P.A. Said I would only lose like another 30 lbs. and that was it....seems like a little bit of weight for such a serious surgery. :(

I started at 258. Just weighed myself this morning and I'm 183 so 75 lbs down. The surgery is supposed to guarantee like 80 lbs but my friend had the same surgery and she's down 120 lbs. I make sure I track, lots of Water , stay between 500-600 calories a day. Cardio every day. About a half hr since I have a 2 yr old and 3 yr old who aren't very happy with mommy exercising. Lol and Protein every day. About 60-70 grams. I hit a stall and made some changes and I'm back on track . You should go on myfitnesspal. I use it daily and it helps me keep on track.
