  1. Thanks J, I am steady lossing but all of a sudden I am craving sweets like crazy and I dont know why. I am trying to stick with deserts that i find on the egg face site but i need to stop with the cravings. Hows your journey going?
  2. I was sleeved 3/5/12 Jlewis 229 and I had almost the samething. I had to eat my last meal at noon the day before an then do the two bottles of magnesium and then nothing but clear fluids until midnight. I did have to follow the south beach diet for about 2 months prior in order to reduce the fat on my liver.
  3. I dont know if its the smell or the taste but i am three months post op and have not been able to find a shake i can tolerate. It took my hair to fall out bad ( what can i say im hard headed) for me to say i better find one i can get down. I am happy to say i found a recipe on the eggface website for peanut butter cup shake and it was soooooo good. It didnt taste or smell like a crappy shake at all. It was like a milkshake treat on a hot day. Next on the list to try is strawberry cheesecake shake.
  4. Hi, can you tell me where you purchased it? I'd like to try it.

  6. Rainbo, I got them from Rite Aid they only had them in a six pack for $12. I am spending so much money trying ti fine one i can stick with b/c if i dont like them i wont drink them an I know thats not good.
  7. Hi Rainbo, I just tried those isopure an to me they are gross also. To thick, gritty with an after taste. Not as bad as the powders but gross to me non the less. I am going to try and Water it down and see if that helps.
  8. I always keep a bag of almonds in my car and purse as well as Ill toss cheese cubes, an apple or an orange n my bag when i know i will be away from home. Keeping the nuts on hand really helps
  9. Hi Robbino, I to was the same way. My doctor did give me a diet but i lost more then what i needed to and I just ate and ate. I think it because we know we are about to have a dramatic weight loss. I am glad for the preop diet because there is alot to adjust to after however once you've been sleeved no matter if you're ready or not your body wont allow you to eat like that. I was sleeved 3/5/12 and my biggest issue is i never want to eat. I wouldnt beat up on myself for it if i were you. You'll be just fine. We all have to adjust mentally ready or not
  10. Thank you Tmoss, I will look for that liquid protine this weekend :0)
  11. Updating also, I was sleeved on March 5,2012 and I am down to 213, A loss of 41 pounds and loving it. Only problem i am having is hairloss due to not drinking the protine shakes at all. I hate them they taste so gross. I havent been this size since i was a teen. Congrats to everyone on their continued losses :0)
  12. I am 9 weeks post op and i too have this issue. I cant drink and eat even if i want to. Its hard because i have to drink when i eat but if i do it now i blow like a vulcano if ya know what i mean. its a pain because i love my ice cold water
  13. Ummm, good question Vanboo52. Iam not sure but i would think so if you ate only the dip. No veggies or chips with it
  14. I just made this dip an it taste just like the regular one. I am dipping red peppers in it and loving it. Thanks so much
  15. I think its because we have less weight so sex is better therefore making us want it more and more. Not to mention we look and feel better about ourselves. My guy had surgery 3 months before me an if its not me its him but one of us is always ready to romp, i think as long as your not going outside of your relationship your fine. When that happens i would worry.
  16. My intentions was to get the band at first. My doctor told me i did not have enough weight to lose to have the bypass. So i wanted the band but the more i researched the better the sleeve sounded for me. I know a few people who had the band and they all gained their weight back. My doctor said i would only lose 40 to 60 pounds with the band. He also said i would lose about 100 pounds with the sleeve. I also was not a fan of the objects in my body for life. He said with the sleeve i will never be able to eat enough to stretch my stomach back out to where it was presurgery. I am only 7 weeks out and am down 30 pounds. It has been an easy recovery, just minor issues here and there but all and all i am very happy and i know for me going with the sleeve was the best thing to do.
  17. I thought it was just me i was sleeved in March an my girls keep going and going. I am down from a 48DD to a 42D im curious to see what i will end up at an yes they are a hanging lol but im happy as ever hanging boobs an all.
  18. My surgery date was 3/5/12 Starting weight was: 266 Surgery day weight : 254 Six weeks post op : 226 The only issue i have and am still having is going to the bathroom but now i see i am not alone. I just use miralax daily. I look at it as a small price to pay for such a big weight loss. I am so happy to have found this site and can see im not alone on this weight loss journey
