  1. I actually only lost 20...29 was a typo. I've been getting on the treadmill 1-3 miles 5 days a week. I did start lifting some weights to firm up.
  2. I know we all complain about our speed of loss. I'm not complaining just looking for inspiration that it does move in the long run. I tell myself everyday that's its ok and I WILL lose. Hard to say when you have failed so many times before. I was sleeved 12/14/12 weighed 224 today and 204. I know 29 lbs in two months should make me excited. Anyone have some inspiration for a realt slow start?

  7. I Loved that ordered a salad with steak for dinner. Best part was when the waitress kept asking is your dinner OK.....Do you need a to go box? I know some are uncomfortable in those situations but to me it's a reminder that I no longer eat huge portions. I also order because of taste not because I want the biggest serving to fill me up.

  9. I'm 4 weeks post op. I decided to do a hotel mani to keep my away from bad decisions
  10. This week is my first week traveling for work since surgery. The way I used to survive was either drinking, eating, or all the above. Now I'm in my room trying not to eat because of boredom. Brought my shoes to get on treadmill just can't get the motivation. I'll be home Friday so just a few more days. I now know one of my mental demons to fight
  11. I Thought once before I read something about your restriction increasing after 1st month. I'm about 4 weeks out and last two days have been much harder to eat then any other time. I understand dense food but I was eating the same way all last week with way less problems. Anyone have this?

  13. I'm 3 weeks out and have had them twice. It's a great way to get protein in and take a long time to eat. I had no problems with them but I haven't had problems with much
  14. I take the Bariactic Advantage chewables and feel sick everytime. I try to avoid them but my hubby is always asking if I took them yet. He is concerned I'll get sick if I don't. In the market for a new vitamin now also

  17. I've decided my body is stubborn but I'm more stubborn so I will defeat this slow loss. In 6 months I'll look back and laugh at how obsessed I was for no reason
  18. Surgery weight 222 12/14 Today 213 Needless to say I'm frustrated. Following doc orders and getting on treadmill daily. My body just needs to get on board
  19. Thank you for the words of encouragement. I told my husband to hide the scale while I'm at work so that I can break my habit.
