So, I found the site yesterday. It's been a long journey, deciding to finally have this surgery. I'm 23, with a 2 year old daughter from Michigan. I had my consultation appt yesterday. I have one of the few insurances that doesn't have the 6 months worth of weigh ins and tests that need to be done. I made an appt with my regular care physician for later this month. Waiting for the number for a Psych Eval. Once I get the release from my doc and the Pysch Eval, it will only take a few weeks for the Ins Co to turn it over. So, it should be around the end of next month - into October that I'll have it done. I've heard nothing but good things about the sleeve. My cousin has had AWESOME results and he got it done nearly a year ago. So any information that can be given to me on what to expect the first few weeks, it would be great. I know about reintroducing foods to your stomach post op and the sort, but I would love to know what everyone has experienced. Though, I know that everyone is different. Thanks, ya'll!
