Did you have a stall around 4-5 months and if so how long did it last and how did you break it?

Hi

I lose about 6-8 pounds fast and then I "adjust" (lol) for about 10 days. Then I lose fast again and thats been my pattern.Dont do long stalls.

How much weight have you lost? You had your surgery about 2 weeks after me.

Hi, I am 7 months out from surgery, I had a stall at 3 weeks that lasted almost 4 weeks, another at 3 months that lasted 3 weeks and just finished another at 6 months that lasted 3 weeks. I continued to lose inches according to my friends, but the weight comes off slow and I typically see those big stalls, which my Dr told me are normal for 3, 6 and 9 months. It feels discouraging the first time around, but believe me, it will come off if you keep doing what is right. Good luck.

I am almost 4 months out and I get stalls too, in fact I am in one now for a little over a week now, kind of frustrating, I understand.

I lost very little in month 4 &5 but my body shape has changed alot. All of a sudden XL tops were way to big. I dont measure but I most have lost alot of inches. It's amazing. Now that I'm almost 6 months out I've started losing again.

I am 5 months out sleeved two weeks before you and have had some stalls, but none lasted too long. I was told to eat some carbs(good carbs) and sleep as your body needs rest if you are working out alot like I was. Broke my stall in 2-3 days and haven't had a stall in months. I have lost 66 pounds to date and am 5 pounds from goal, my new concern is will my body recognize that and stop losing weight? I work out 5-6 times a week and am a little nervous I could end up way under goal....not complaining though I used to be way over goal lol!

I was sleeved two weeks before you and am down 66 pounds. I had some stalls in the beginning but was told to eat carbs, change up my routine and sleep. Did that and it broke my stall, haven't had one in awhile.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
