I saw Dr.Lavin in Covington at his offices there. I live in MS, and I have several friends that used his team of doctors. I actually saw Dr. Lavin on Good Morning America back in June discussing a new procedure I believe he invented.

That's how I found about Dr. Lavin. I was initially interested in the POSE procedure but my BMI is too high for it. I talked to Dr. Lavin on the phone for about 20 minutes and got a great feeling from him. I also did research on him and he's top in this field.

I was scheduled for aug 28th but found out today my TSH level is too high - so Until I can get this down from39 to 9 or lower I am unable to proceed. I am 8 days into my liquid diet phase - and I am so disappointed.

Any one else ever had this problem with your Thyroid TSH level being too high and if so how long to get the numbers to drop?
