Two Days Post-Op

My surgery was at 7:30 am on Wednesday and I got home today around noon. I've had no issues, knock on wood. No vomiting, no extreme pain, just a little soreness in my abdomen. My upper arms are bit stiff from all the shots they give you. Being groggy for the first 24 hours was the most disconcerting. I couldn't text for the life of me!

I took two books and two magazines but did not try to read them. I just dozed a lot.

All in all, not a bad experience at all.

I am glad you are home and doing fine...It does get easier really fast. I know you have probably read that a thousand times but it is true! :P

Glad to hear you're doing so well!! Gives me hope! :)

I had my surgery yesterday at 9:15am and I didn't wake up from the anesthesia until noon, that day was riff but today is much better. Did u need cathetor in? I can't pee on my own they said my bladder is still asleep so I have to wear one now and its supper uncomfortable. Worse part of all this I would say, I go home tomorrow. Good luck.

The catheter was horrible! I felt a million times better after it was out! I am three weeks out tomorrow.

Congrats on your ongoing success.... You won't believe the difference it makes.

I had mine the 10th and am doing good too. I had to be recathed one time because I could not go either, but after that I was going plenty, Good luck hope you do better every day

My catheter came out the day after surgery. There was no pain or discomfort.

I came home with pain meds but don't feel the need to take them. If I didn't know better, I would wonder if I an operation at all. Crossing my fingers that this luck continues.

Argnewcan...I had the same experience. Your luck will continue...we have just begun the most significant journey in our lives... :P
