Water In Mx?

Hi all....just wondering about the water in Mx? You always hear not to drink the water, but I know we have to drink water while we are there not to mention the broth that may have water and our support person.....any experience with that or suggestions?

I believe they give you bottled water in the hospital. I know lots of people that go there and they drink bottled water. :)

I drank bottled water.

Broth is probably safe because it is cooked. Kind of like boiling your water in emergency situations.

Stick to bottled Water, and don't forget to use it when you brush your teeth too.

The following has a good article.

They give you bottled water to drink.

My family and I were there for 5 days. We bought bottled water, but forgot to carry it with us a few times.

I drank the water from the restaurant, and used the hotel/hospital water to brush my teeth. No issues,

Everything was fine. Cancun caters to tourists, so maybe they're extra careful!
