I didn't find much I liked. I used clear Isopure 40gm drinks from GNC. One a day at 4 bucks each was still less than my old fast food budget.

If you want protien powder I suggest cuppacino. I look forward to drinking those...well at least they taste good.

Glad you are trying to keep up your Protein up.

Pre op I enjoyed the Muscle Milk Lights and EAS ready to drink. Post Op, I have enjoyed Unjury. I know netrition.com has a sample pack which is reasonable & allows you to try a variety of different brands. I was lucky & the Unjury my NUT recommended worked fine for me, but I have seen posts were others have not been very lucky with their shakes. Good luck & congratulations!!!

Currently, I am using "Silk Milk (Vanilla)," in which I add the Carnation Breakfast Essentials & then I add a scoop of the whey Protein Powder (Vanilla) from GNC. It makes a great drink and a good source of Protein.< /p>

I dont really like any of the powders. I can tollerate the pre mixed stuff better, but not much. I prefer just to buy the Protein shots(hate the taste too) but I can chug them down fast and my protein is done. 27 g a shot. good luck

Thank u I don't think I like the powders either! I can't take a second swallow the pre mixed lean shake from GNC is not the best but, I can take more than one swallow. I heard about the Protein Shots I wanted to try it but, I also seen somewhere on this forum where they didn't really have anything good to say about the protein shots so I avoided it but, I'm trying my best to find something I can tolerate I just got some protein Jello from GNC it has 21 or 23 grams of protein I'm gonna try that too

I've heard good things about the Syntrax Nectar flavors- I've yet to try them (I'm pre op) but I'm gonna order a sample pack to see what I like but I hear they are good. I like sweet things (some people have said they are too sweet) but I think I'll like it. I've tried the optimum nutrition gold standard before and it wasn't so bad. Good luck! I've been researching Protein like crazy too to find something good! They also told me to do Isopure but from what I've heard its gross so I don't think I'll be trying it- maybe the clear ones but not the shakes.< /p>

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
