Eggs!

Lol. I don't really have a question or anything, but I thought it was funny that I was never really an egg person before surgery and now, almost 3 weeks out, I'm eating a scrambled egg and I LOVE IT!!!

I don't think a truer truth has ever been spoken lol.

thats awsome iam 3days out still on liquds

I'm 4 days out and I CAN'T WAIT for the pureed/mushies stage...and eggs!! :)

Eggs taste better to me now than before. I have one every morning for breakfast.

eggs are my favorite! I haven't been able to have them because of gallstones. (Even though I could eat almost any other fatty, fried food- I guess the cholesterol).

So, for me the surgery will actually allow me to eat what I've been wanting- lol.

I've always been on the fence about eggs, even post-op. I like them, don't get me wrong, but a steady diet of them? Nyet. I prefer mine hard boiled, which is still a no-no for me, so I settle for scrambled. It's nice to have texture, but I still don't like the eggy flavor. Sorry, not for me. :(

I'm also 2 days away from pureed and have pretty much planned out my menus for next week. I can't wait to have something with some flavor that ISNT sweet. Eggs with little ketchup sound wonderful.

I hated cottage cheese before surgery, then it was one of the first mushies I tried. LOVED IT! I still eat it a few times a week now.

emlefe .... Same for me! didn't like cottage cheese before sleeve...now i eat it couple times a week....weird!

I second that!! Today I started soft and OMG the scrambled egg was DELICIOUS!!

Eggs and cottage cheese - both main staples in my nutrition- both DELISH!
