Yeah...been walking 30-60 mins a day for five days. So not sure the gas would still be bothering me 2 weeks out? Maybe I'll shoot a note to the nurse. Weird!

Did anybody find more info on this? I'm having the same intermittent pain and it's very annoying!

I read up on this and they say it is VERY common. My pain came last week just under the left breast and ribcage. A stabbing pain that hurt when I walked or moved. They say it is just one of those things that most ppl experience. It also seems to hurt in different spots but always on the left side.

Type in "pain on left side" in the keyword search. You should find plenty.

If its what I had its a condition called chest wall syndrome that frequently affects people who have had major surgery. Use heat and take Tylenol if it hurts really bad. Mine was so bad I had to go to the doc and was put on sedatives for about five days. It goes away on its own. It's your nerve ending waking back up and healing after surgery. Not fun! And can affect any area of the body. Mine was on my back, left side. Thought it was a kidney stone. It hurt so bad I would scream at times.
