dont know if it is normal, but I had them. I eat "Sea Veggies' seaweed snack from YangBan...crispy, salty 35 calories 1 carb, 1 protien, dissolves into almst nothing...imagine a good for you, paperthin cheeto...

Where do you buy sea veggies?

I eat actual seaweed. You can get little snack packs at any Asian market. 15 calories, 1 carb and no fat. It's an acquired taste but mmm mmm so good.

I also LOVE SALT! I have salt cravings and I love all kinds of salt - except for table salt! Have you ever tried a smoked salt...yummo! I keep some himalayan pink salt crystals at work. If I need salt fix, I will dab my finger in a little bit of salt every once in a while. Probably not the best thing, but...it works and I'm satifying my salt craving without adding any more calories. Another yummy thing is to have some edamame (soy beans - protein) with some good quality salt. Don't ever use regular table iodized salt = ick! After you use good salt that table stuff just tastes like sulphur.

That is my salty two cents.

Oh, yes, seaweed snacks are great also. Asian markets have them as does Trader Joes!

Pork rinds also 7 grams protein

I've found a drink of pickle juice helps my salt cravings. I'm not up to trying seaweed yet. ;)
