MoogleQueen got a reaction from cissiesue in Still In Stall.I don't know for sure maybe a veteran sleever can help but that seems like a long stall for so early out. Maybe you should contact your surgeon. I have been in a stall for 2.5 weeks (my longest stall so far) today I was finally down a pound.

MoogleQueen reacted to Knee2010 in This Will Happen To You!A 10, I am wearing a size 10 jean today. Since my Nov VSG date I have gone from a size 20W to a size 10 jean!!! All I can say to those who are either anxiously waiting for their date and for those who have recently had the surgery is "THIS WILL HAPPEN TO YOU!" And it's wonderful to realize that you (I) won't ever get back into those 20s! (except for comparison purposes lol)

MoogleQueen reacted to Bypassjourney in 12 Weeks Post-Op SuccessI had surgery 12 weeks ago. Prior to and soon after surgery I read many posts about people a few months out and most everyone said the sleeve was the best decision they had ever made. I was so hopeful but at the same time fearful that I wouldn’t have such a successful journey. I am happy to say that I feel the exact same way as they described!!! I never thought it would be possible to feel this much better both physically and emotionally in such a short time. I have lost 47 lbs. (stalled for a week now) and down 30.5 inches! I was in a tight 20W three months ago. Now I am comfortably in a size 16.
I have an NSV to share that some of the ladies may be able to relate. I have always gotten regular pedicures. But I have been doing my own pedicures recently. Not so much because it is less expensive…but because I can actually bend over and paint my toes without turning blue!! I am so amazed at my journey so far and looking forward to a lifetime of better living thanks to my sleeve.

MoogleQueen reacted to yecats in How To See Myself As What I've Never Been?Congrats! You are doing wonderful. I also could never imagine myself thin. I am not by no means now but I am smaller now than I have been in 10 years. I still have 50 lbs to go. Everyday someone is mentioning or saying something about my weight loss. It really is so strange to me. I really do not know how to react. I recall a few weeks ago that someone said "wow, you look great" and I looked behind me to see who they were speaking to. I can not imagine being a normal weight. I still have 50 lbs to lose and by no means am thin. I am only 5'3 so even with 50 more off of me I could still use to lose a few more.
You will adjust, enjoy the ride. It is awesome. I still can't imagine being with out a weight problem.. Sometimes I try the same clothes on day after day because I can not believe I really fit in them. Like I am going to get up and wake up from this fantastic dream ride I have been on. I believe emotionally I will have to experience for a long time b/c I have been big my entire life. It is unreal to me. I am on cloud nine and so will you also. It only gets better. The more I lose the more excited and motivated I get.
Best to you . Sorry I went on and on, your topic really hit home with me.

MoogleQueen got a reaction from chitowngirl in Tomorrow (03/27/12) So Ready! So it's almost here. I couldn't be more excited. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous but for the most part I am just ready.
I don't even think I have anymore questions at this point. I've done my research I know this is ging to be a hard journey but so ready for it. I am sick & tired of carrying around the weigh of an extra person.
Hoping to find a few friends on here to help in this journey & maybe help them too.
