Time To Exercise!

Hey guys I'm on my week 3 and I'm feeling pretty good. Thank God but I do have a question. The incision by my belly had a bad experience it started to leak non stop days after and it hasn't stopped. I went to the doctor and ouchhhhh!! He took a scalpel slided it open and took the stitches away (no anesthesia) so I've been taking care of it by cleaning "the hole". I'm ready to go back to the gym but I'm wondering how long did it take for your stitches to heal and go back to the gym. Thanks in advanced

It could take anywhere between 6 to 8 weeks. It would be beneficial if you could not lift any heavy weights. ;)

I'm 4 weeks & not cleared to start exercise till 8 weeks. But as far as healing my incisions were pretty good by 3 weeks.

6 weeks no lifting over 10 pounds I was told, but can walk all u want.

Wait until your incision heals completely. Don't compromise your healing. There will be plenty of time to work out after you get thru this.
