2. I don't know for sure maybe a veteran sleever can help but that seems like a long stall for so early out. Maybe you should contact your surgeon. I have been in a stall for 2.5 weeks (my longest stall so far) today I was finally down a pound.

I had one sip of a margarita & it burned like hell. I'm 6 weeks out
4. Pork rinds also 7 grams protein
5. Sugar Free Popsicles they are my saving grace especially when I get the munchies.
6. I'm 4 weeks & not cleared to start exercise till 8 weeks. But as far as healing my incisions were pretty good by 3 weeks.
7. I was sleeved march 27th so I'm a month ahead but feel free to talk to me about anything.
8. Thin!!!!!!!!! I was in a size 14 at the age 12 & only kept going. I have never been thin or felt beautiful or happy with the way I looked. I am so excited & ready but I just can't see myself other than a plus size. I long to go in a regular store & be able to wear most of the stuff in there but I can't picture myself that way. I think about it often but part of me keeps saying you'll never get there you are always going to be FAT! On a plus side I'm down 24lbs at my 4 week appointment.
9. Last nite I had 3 sugar free popsicles only 15 calories, the give my mouth something to do & I get in fluids so its all wins.
10. have u tried the Mios they're good.
11. I like this one from Walmart its 45 grams of whey Protein. Watermelon is the best. They not great but easy way to get in protein
12. I find if I shake the crap out of it (I don't have a blender ball) then let it rest for a few then shake one last time it does the trick.
13. I could really use some encouragement. I was sleeved 3/27/12. I know this is not an overnight fix but wondering if this is gonna work for me. I have been extra depressed lately. I still feel hungry all the time. I'm down 18lbs but I lost 16 of that the first week & only 2 pounds since. I try to get at least half my Protein in each day. I just want get smaller. I feel like I'm gonna fail at this like I do with everything else. I have been able to handle anything I ate but to be honest I was hoping food would make me sick. I'm tired of being a slave to food. I don't wanna be fat anymore!!!!
14. It depends on what kind u take. I take Wellbutrin & it can actually help with weight loss.
15. Flintstones complete is what my doctor recommended
16. When my doctor came to check on me just before discharge he asked if I had any questions. I said sex & roller coasters but not necessarily together lol. He said two weeks for both. Don't think we'll wait 2 weeks for the sex though lol
17. I was sleeved 3/27. Last night was my first night sleeping in my own bed. I had been sleeping in recliner. It was a little uncomfortable I needed 4 pillows lol but it was nice to be in my own bed & next my hubby. I was put on Protein shakes in hospital day after surgery. I feel sick if I don't keep some kind of something in my stomach.
18. I can have them as well. The more I read on here seems like doctors are all over the board on what they do & don't allow before & after surgery. I only had to do a clear liquid diet day before surgery then nothing after midnight. I've seen some people say they can have soft & pureed foods 1 week out & some on Clear Liquids 1 week out. I can live with my doctors plan. 2 weeks of liquids including pudding & yogurt. Then weeks 3 & 4 soft & pureed foods.
19. I'm doing pretty good. No shoulder pain either. The hardest part of this liquid diet is it's pretty much all sweet stuff & I don't care for broth. I would kill for week 3 when I can have can chicken or tuna & I'm drooling over the thought of pintos & cheese from taco bell. lol I hate not knowing what my stomach wants. If I go to long without anything I get nauseous I've even been having some Protein drink in the middle of the night. (not sure if I should) I had 2 bites of sugar free chocolate pudding then decided I wanted one more...bad idea lol never thought I'd see the day where 3 bites of pudding(or anything for that matter) would stuff me to the point of being sick.

21. I personally didn't find the pain to be to terrible. I've had 3 sections and this has been much easier by far. For me the worst part of the recovery room was still feeling so heavy from the drugs. Good luck to you.
22. 6 more laps. Should be going for upper gi soon.
23. I had surgery yesterday (3/27/12) I'm doing OK. In some pain. I managed 7 laps around nurses station. I've gotten so many compliments on how awesome I'm doing started in recovery room. My biggest complaints are dry mouth & throat & peeing like crazy. The peeing wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to call nurse every time to unhook everything. Oh & compression stockings suck. :-( The pain has been bare able. I knew there would be pain so I guess I can deal cause I was prepared for that.
24. So it's almost here. I couldn't be more excited. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous but for the most part I am just ready. I don't even think I have anymore questions at this point. I've done my research I know this is ging to be a hard journey but so ready for it. I am sick & tired of carrying around the weigh of an extra person. Hoping to find a few friends on here to help in this journey & maybe help them too.
