Why?

Why no sugar free pudding or ice cream on full liquid postoperative diet? They are usually considered part of a full liquid diet!

On my diet list of foods at 3 days I can go on full liquids which inludes pudding, yogurt and cream of wheat ect.

Those were included in my mushies stage wich started for me at week 3.

I can have them as well. The more I read on here seems like doctors are all over the board on what they do & don't allow before & after surgery. I only had to do a clear liquid diet day before surgery then nothing after midnight. I've seen some people say they can have soft & pureed foods 1 week out & some on Clear Liquids 1 week out.

I can live with my doctors plan. 2 weeks of liquids including pudding & yogurt. Then weeks 3 & 4 soft & pureed foods.

Sf pudding was on my full liquid. I was eating it in the hospital per nut's orders. But ice cream is def out lol!! I'm 2os out & sugar makes me soooo sick!!!
