  3. I had pain off and on for the first five days, but then it tapered off nicely. Abs still ache some but just because I am not being a couch potato any more, but actually doing some exercise! If I, a pain weenie, can do it, anyone can! Keep us posted on how youre doing.
  4. Congrats! You've taken the first step to a new you!
  5. Praying for both of you! You'll do fine.
  6. Great! He or his assistant will answer any questions you have and are so nice. Glad I used them. Good luck and keep us posted!

  8. Way to go on your progress so far, 3 sizes down is awesome!
  9. Neck and collarbone. And I have the nose running thing now too. Weird!
  10. As of yesterday, I am down 25 lbs and could get into some cute capris that were way too tight before surgery (3/27). Today I put on my pants for church and they are loose now too. Makes not having the Easter candy so worth it!
  11. So sorry, Ready! I will praying for you to feel better soon.
  12. They added Seroquel. Plus, I think some of it was due to going into ketosis. Anybody else have that problem?
  13. You are beautiful! Success stories like this are awesome to read for newbies like me!
  14. It is so good to see someone who has come thru that first month so well. I hope I can do as well as that. Good job!!
  15. Called my surgeon and he wouldn't do anything. Called my GP and have an appointment tomorrow but wouldn't call in anything. Way to be a horse's butt, docs!
  16. Anyone having panic attacks after VSG? I am on my 6th postoperative day. Also, has your depression got worse? It's the mental issues more than the liquid diet that's getting me down!
  17. I dunno. How well would it absorb?
  18. Prilosec Solutabs are possibly fouler than the protein shots. Anyone have a suggestion for a substitute?
  19. I don't know what to say. I am overwhelmed by the supportive posts on this board. I do believe God (or whatever your HP) led me here!
  20. I hope I can encourage others the way y'all have encouraged me. Glad I found this place!
  21. Thanks, guys. I feel much better now and wish you each good luck on your journey!
