So I get my recomened fluids of 64 ounces and 100 g Protein. I take all my vitems daily. I have been dizy since Friday and now I have had a headache for two days. I called my dr but he has been so busy and is over booked they say to just go to the er and get fluids. Problem is I know my man he will be worried even more about me and be more drink eat drink eat with me. And then he will feel pressure to make me better and not let me end up in the er again. I feel bad I don't want him to feel pressure like it is up to him to keep me healthy one that's my job and two sometimes things like this happen after this surgery itching could be done right? I was thinking about going to the er for guilds tommrow while he and the kid are at work/school and not saying anything.....but then if he finds out will be cranky I didn't tell him saying I am stubborn and need to let him take care of stuff....why can't he be like that about taking out trash and dishes lol

I gusse the point is could I be dehydrated even if I am drinking what they say and should I go get fluids tonight or put off till tommrow I been feeling crappy since Friday. What's one more day

If you suspect you are already dehydrated, 1 more day could be fatal. Go to the ER and tell hubby the best thing he can do is encourage you to drink more Water. Water is a super food, especially right now.

Well he talked me into staying home and helped me remember to drink when I slowed down ie forgot and I am doing great now I even am getting more than recomened and no long dizzy or foggy headed feeling so much better. I realized while Protein Drinks are good if I want lots of guilds just drinking plain Water works best I love the stuff and drink a lot more of it than anything else if that is what's in my cup

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
