@starsleeve...I just had my Q and A with my surgeon...he warned me about that right side incision. That is where he takes out the stomach so he has to stretch that one out and it takes longer to heal...hope this helps!!

I've asked my surgeon about both of these, the pain meds cause constipation. I didn't have a BM til I stopped taking them. Also the fuzzy tongue is common in liquid and soft diets.

Check my subject from a few days back "Let's talk about toots!"

Lots of good advice/support. My gas and poops arrived 6-7 days. It came a day after I bumped up my Water intake and moved around alot more.

No worries....what is up...MUST come down!

Does anyone have cramping after liquid intake?? Had surgery on April 30 th and as soon as the liquids started the cramps did as well.

Not me. I had just esophagus pain but it lasted arround 3 days... Did you call you doctor already?

Yeah I have the fuzzy tongue as well (sleeved on May 1st). I think it has a lot to do with the pain pills...

Are all of you sure this fuzzy tongue isn't "thrush"? If it goes untreated it could be very painful and make you pretty sick!

mine is gone today.... i stopped taking the pain pills last night. I think it was causing the cotton mouth too..... But i'm all normal today!
