Salad!

I'm four months post op and craving salad! The only thing is, is that I'm to afraid to try it :( I had bad experiences with spinach so salad scares me even worse! Has anyone post op tried salad? If so how far out were you?

Just be sure to chew thoroughly, and seed/skin tomatoes and cucumbers. Eventually, you'll be okay with it, but for now, taking a few precautions can make a difference. :-) Enjoy!! Worst-case scena

Salad goes down really well with my sleevie! And it's yummy too!

how much of it do u guys eat.. meaning the measurements..

I'm 3 weeks out & I've been craving salad big time!!! I can only eat 3 bites of anything, and boy, I can't wait to fill up on those 3 bites of Salad Supreme from US Pizza!

i was also a salad lover, and still like it and have it, but I find I do not like iceberg lettuce at all because you get the feeling you cannot chew it well enough, so i had to switch to romaine or bibb, or spinach. you may find you don't like the foods you liked before!

im three weeks out and i crave salad and fresh fruits sooo bad!!!!!! i just want to munch on tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce but i cant! i cant wait will i can!

When you get there, try romaine, butter, or bibb lettuce. I find I do not like to eat iceberg lettuce anymore. Seems too hard to chew or something. You really concentrate on chewing since you are sleeved, so you need something that is easier to chew.

thanks!
