It's amazing when you realize how much your body literally got in the way of doing things! I always assumed I couldn't do certain yoga poses because I wasn't flexible enough....no, it was because my ass was getting in the way!

bethiefish got a reaction from Ms skinniness in Brusing
For the past few weeks I have been noticing a lot of unexplainable bruises. Has anyone else had this issue? They are not your normal small bruises, the ones I'm getting are huge and change colors drastically. Out of my entire recovery process this has been my only issue. Guess its time to head back to the doctors!

bethiefish got a reaction from DanityChai in Hard Time In The Pre-Op Diet
I was on a "lean and green" diet for two weeks prior to my surgery. I had to drink five shakes a day And at dinner time I could have half a cup of salad and a small piece of meat. That itself wa very hard to go from eating whenever I wanted to not eating really anything. But the one thing I noticed was that the first few days were horrible, but once you get past a few days it gets a lot easier! You won't even think about eating or being hungry. If you having issues with hunger you could switch up shakes if the dr says its ok. Sometimes switching things up helps!
