A Run

Recommended Posts

I was walking from my class to my dorm room and I felt like running...I did not as there is about a foot of snow...... but what a feeling

I am a little over a month and a half out of surgery.. ive lost just over 80lbs so far(including my pre surgery diet)

every once in a while when I go for a walk I have this urge to run...... I think I might just try it

Your body is ready to move at a faster pace. Run when it is safe. Congrats! That's awesome. I find that I am walking faster and going further and further every day. Love it! ;)

Be careful. I had the same urges and gave into them. Now, 7 months later, I am running almost everyday. I have an 8K race in a week from Sunday and am training for a Half-Marathon. This running thing can be addictive.

If you're not careful, you might turn into an athlete!!

LOLOL!!! Oh yeah... and I looove that feeling!!! Light as air baby and no one can catch me! ;) I love going for my walks around the State Capitol. I actually walk against the grain because I get tired of trying to pass everyone. I still have to pass some folks, but I find that I actually RUN by em. Heehee !!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
