Ultimate body work out!

Try swimming up a slow moving river! while your trying to go forward the Water is pushing you back wards. You almost have to fight to go on.when you get tired move over to the slower moving Water.< /p>

It works your whole body and its free, I try to swim every day or walk in the pool or do a few laps. good luck.

I can imagine that'd be hard, lol. I often use swim fins if I swim.

Unfortunately swimming cant be an everyday occurence here, lol. When you're a woman and you pay good money for your hair colour and your spray tan and your french manicure, hmm, chlorinated pools are EVIL, lol.

I also discovered the other day that boxing is a mega workout - I am sore in muscles that have never hurt before - even up the back of my head!!

John, one of the latest exercise crazes in the US is the small pools that create the Water forces to push you back and you need to swim against the Water. You can build a much smaller pool and get your exercise. Unfortunately, for the price, I will have to work internationally for a long time.

Due to the creepy things in fresh water here, I won't try swimming upstream. There are pills that others take to get rid of the creeps but Im a chicken. But I am feeling exercise guilty so I'm gonna go take the neighbors dog for a walk. Celeste

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
